A Big thank you to everyone who came out to help on Sunday. A special thank you to Skyler and John Autry for helping to set up and break down. It was 50 degrees at 7:00 when we arrived to set up .

We had a cold and windy Sunday but as beautiful a day as you could hope for. The surf was in the 2-4 foot range with a few barrels to be had. Cody Thompson was crowned the 2008 King of the Peak with some great aerial attempts and a solid barrel in the latter rounds to knock out Asher Noland and Rylan McCart. and secure his spot on the podium.

We secured the tent and did our thing all day. The big hit was surely the hot chocolate. We went through 6 (70 oz.) thermoses by 10 am with only competitors and their family on hand. We also supplied the judges with hot chocolate, breakfast bars and fruit, which they devoured and gave a shout out during the competition to CS for the love we showed. We had breakfast bars, fruit and drinks at the CS tent as well as wax, magazines, t-shirts and stickers, all of which were a big draw. We sold a few t-shirts, had some great conversations with both the surfers and spectators , had one first aid patch job and one girl ask for her first Bible. If you see Mama G sporting one of our T-shirts, while take photos at the beach, give her a big thumbs up.
